My life is safe after bariatric surgery

weight loss

After performing my bariatric surgery, my life has changed completely, from suffering excessive obesity to enjoying good health.
My life almost had an end due to excess weight and related diseases, but I survived, thanks to God and Dr. Mohamed Abo El Naga.

My life before bariatric surgery:
- I was suffering from excessive weight and accumulated fats, which had affected my professional, health, and psychological life.
- The significant increase in weight had a powerful impact on my psychological state as I was suffering from loneliness and depression, as a result of being unable to enjoy life normally like others.
- Excessive obesity affected my health in different ways. The accumulation of fat around the respiratory system caused me to experience breathing difficulties during the night, and consequently, I was suffering from insomnia, lack of sleep, and constant stress.
- Excessive accumulation of fat in the blood caused hypertension, and consequently, the appearance of heart problems and the reduction of heart efficiency.
- The accumulation of fat around the pancreas led to a lack of its efficiency. A rise in blood glucose levels occurred due to insufficiency of insulin secretions. Subsequently, type 2 diabetes evolved.
- Excessive fat accumulation had a significant impact on the joints and bones, which led to my spinal and joint pain, especially the knee joint.

My life after bariatric surgery:
Obesity was a major threat to my life due to many diseases related to excess weight.
But after undergoing one of the bariatric surgeries with Dr. Mohamed Abo El Naga, consultant of bariatric and laparoscopic surgeries, I gradually recovered from the excess weight and related diseases.
- My sleep becomes normal and continuous through the night hours, and I am free of insomnia and stress during the day.
- My health, both physically and psychologically, has been improved.
- Improved breathing during sleep provides calm and comfortable night hours.
- Blood pressure has improved and gradually returned to normal levels after the surgery.
- The blood glucose level is improved and gradually began to decline and return to the normal rate after bariatric surgery.
- With getting rid of excess weight and achieving the ideal weight, I got rid of depression and loneliness, and my self-confidence began to rise, so I joined all social activities that I missed during the years of obesity.
- I got rid of the excess weight and then freed of joint and bone pain, and therefore I restored my ability to move and exercise without experiencing any pain, as before.
- Getting rid of excess weight reduces the extra effort on the heart muscle, thus improving the functions of the heart and vital organs of the body.

** As you can see in the picture, there is a clear difference in shape and psychological state between before and after bariatric surgery, and also, as I mentioned, the great difference in my general health is obvious.
Bariatric surgery brought me back to a life free from the threat of diseases related to obesity and overweight.
